Second part of question is more difficult to answer, remains have been found from Alaska, down thru Canada, and down into central USA… it’s scattered: like a plane wreck that leaves debris behind it over an open fied… in this case thousands of miles… all documentable…

Author reply: Primary answer, PREDOMINATE answer… Wisconsin Ice Age… There have been at least 3 major/several Epoch Ice Ages that are KNOWN to have occurred…
AT THESE VARIOUS AGES/EPOCHS, HUMANS HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!

Author reply: An Ice Age is such a unretractable event… CERTAINLY back then, very miniscule geological human ‘anything’ remains… as the Earth started to warm up again, all the ice was melting and MAJOR FLOODING WASTAKING PLACE… geological core samples show this… there are a few prehistoric references to arrow point shapes: prehistoric vs as I discuss in the novel.
